Tree Planting in Mt. Airy, Philadelphia

About the project

The goal was to establish a strong privacy barrier in between the neighbors yard and the driveway. Noise from a busy road was also prominent, so Green Giants became the tree of choice which grow fast and dense as a privacy and noise wall.

1. Assessed the site to determine optimal tree placement for sun exposure and root development
2. Maintained space so the trees could mature to full potential without hitting nearby powerlines
3. Weeded entire area
4. Dug holes for trees
5. Laid garden fabric to prevent weeds surrounding the trees
6. Planted the Green Giants and mixed peat moss in to add nutrients to soil
7. Laid mulch for optimal growth and weed prevention
